2020 MGA Ryder Cup

PAIRING PARTY: Thursday, November 12th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
-Keg provided during pairing party

FORMAT: Match Play - 3 Seperate Formats:

Holes 1-6 TWO MAN BEST BALL

Holes 7-12 MODIFIED ALTERNATE SHOT

Holes 13-18 SCRAMBLE

All Formats, dots will be given off the low player/team.

SCORING:  Teams will receive 2pts for winning each six hole match plus 1/10th point for each additional hole you win over 1 pt.  Example: Win the six hole match by two holes, you receive 2.1 pts.  Example: Win all six holes in the match, you receive 2.5 pts.  ALL 6 holes count, you may win the first 4 holes, and then lose the next two holes.  You have won the match, but the loosing team reduced the points won by  winning the last two holes.  Teams will receive 1 pt each for a tied match, and zero for losing the match.

SHOOTOUT: After the matches are complete, the captains will select a winning two-man team to represent their side in the alternate shot format shootout.  The players will play hole #18 until there is a winner.  Prize money will be awarded to teams that win their match.  Additional prize money will be awarded to any team winning their match who is also on the side that is represented by the shootout winner.
