** This event is a qualifying event for both the Lantana Cup and Denton County Shootout on both days **

Entry Fee: $225 per player

Event Itinerary:

• Heavy Aps and Keg available

• Saturday, May 20th
• 7:00am - Range opens
• Breakfast tacos available in main dining room 
• 8:00am - Match 1: Shotgun Start
• 10:45am - Match 2: Continuous Play
• Lunch served on course during match #2
• 1:30pm - Match 3: Continuous Play
• 4:00pm - Scoring in ballroom
• Keg provided

• 8:00am - Match 4: Shotgun Start
• 10:45pm - Match 5: Continuous Play
• 1:30pm - Scoring, Lunch with Keg
• 3:00pm - Shootout to determine overall Member/Member Champion!!

Registration: Members MUST register with their partner. Incomplete entries with space holders will not be accepted. Registration for the 2023 Member/Member will open at 7:00pm Thursday, April 6th on Foretees. 

10 Shot Differential: This event maintains a 10 shot differential between partners. If teammates are more than 10 shots apart in their playing handicaps, the higher handicap player's playing handicap will be reduced to bring them to within 10 shots of their teammate's playing handicap. 

Format: This is a 2 man match play event. Teams will play 5 nine hole matches in a round robin against the other teams in their flight. This event uses a point system on overall scoring:

• Each match is worth 2 points
• A tied match awards 1 point to each team
• Teams accumulate an additional 10th of a point (max of 2.4) for each additional hole they win
• Example: A match ends 5-4. The winning team receives 2 points for the win. 
• Example 2: A match ends 5 1/2 - 3 1/2 

Tees and Handicapping: For this event and ALL 2023 MGA events, players will play from the tees in which 70% (14) of your last 20 rounds at Lantana are recorded. This includes all options on the Lantana score card (Black, Lantana Tees, Blue, Members, White, and Red). Tees will be automatically assigned based on this criteria. Players without 20 posted rounds at Lantana will default to the Blue tees.

Payouts: Cash awards per flight based on Calcutta wagers and results. Cash award to the shootout winner. 

Cash Skins Game: Optional $100 team cash skins game available. Cash will be collected in the pro shop prior to beginning play. $50 per day will be applied to skins ($25 gross and $25 net per team providing the daily pots).

Cancelation Policy: Members in the field as of May 1st will be charged a non-refundable $100 tournament deposit. The remainder of the entry fee will be charged May 12th. Cancelations after May 12th are subject to the full entry fee.
