MGA Individual Match Play 

Saturday, July 8th

8am Shotgun Start

** This event is a qualifying event for the Denton County Shootout **

Entry Fee: $85 per player

** Includes Breakfast tacos prior to event, lunch and keg following play

Format: Day 1 of Singles Match Play features the POD system. There are 4 players in each POD. Players will play three - nine hole matches against the other players in their POD. Each POD will have one (1) winner advancing to the match play bracket. This event has a maximum number of 128 players with 32 players moving on. 

Tees and Handicapping: For this event and ALL 2023 MGA events, players will play from the tees in which 70% (14) of your last 20 rounds at Lantana are recorded. This includes all options on the Lantana score card (Black, Lantana Tees, Blue, Members, White, and Red). Tees will be automatically assigned based on this criteria. Players without 20 posted rounds at Lantana will default to the Blue tees.

Payouts: Payouts for the Individual Match Play event will made upon the conclusion of the final match. 

Year Round Skins Game: $50 year round skins game is still available for anyone interested in playing! For 2023, all participants will be entered into Unknown Golf where they will be able to view the leaderboard throughout the season. There will be THREE flights with payouts for both gross and net winners. Payouts will be in cash in January of 2024. Winners of the 2022 year long skins event will be able to collect their cash winnings at this event.

Cash Skins Game: Optional $20 cash skins game available. Skins will be tabulated for Match 2 and 3 only. Cash will be collected at registration prior to beginning play.

Cancelation Policy: Any cancelations after 12:00pm Tuesday, July 4th will incure the full tournament entry fee.
