MGA 2 Man Match Play (Pick your own partner)

8:30am Split #1 & #10 Tee Start

**Lantana Cup and Denton County Shootout Qualifier**

Entry Fee: 

$110 per player

** Includes lunch and keg following play as well as the event prize pool**

Format: 

We will not be doing a Qualifying Round, instead we will begin with the Round of 64 matches.

*Due to this event being a Lantana Cup and DCS qualifier, all players are required to finish each hole even if their score does not affect the outcome of the match. 

Full Event Schedule:

· Round of 64 – March 7th

· Round of 32 – On or before March 29th

· Round of 16 – On or before April 19th

· QuarterFinals – On or before May 17th

· SemiFinals – On or before June 14th

· Finals – On or before July 19th

Partner Stroke Differential: 

There is a 10 stroke limit between partners on playing handicaps. Players will receive 90% of their handicap, which is capped from increasing during the event, but may decrease for future matches.

Tees and Handicapping: 

For this event and ALL 2026  MGA events, players will play from the tees in which 70% (14) of your last 20 rounds at Lantana are recorded. This includes all options on the Lantana score card (Black, Lantana Tees, Blue, Members and White). Tees will be automatically assigned based on this criteria. Players without 20 posted rounds at Lantana will default to the Blue tees.

  ** Handicaps will be based on your 12-Month Low Index**

Cash Skins Game: 

Optional $20 cash skins game available. Cash will be collected in the pro shop prior to beginning play.

Cancelation Policy: 

Any cancelations after 12:00pm Tuesday, March 3rd will be charged the full tournament entry fee.

Year Round Skins Game: 

MGA members may enter the year round skins game at any point during the year! Entry fee is $50. For 2026, all participants will be entered into UnknownGolf where they will be able to view the leaderboard throughout the season. There will be THREE flights with payouts for both gross and net winners. Payouts will be in cash in January of 2027.
